About Us

Welcome to the Rexdale Rebels Soccer Club, a non-profit community organization that offers a variety of soccer programs for boys and girls from ages 4 to 18. We are located in the heart of Rexdale, a neighbourhood in Etobicoke, Toronto, and one of the longest-serving members of the Toronto Soccer Association.

Our club was founded in 1967 by a group of passionate soccer enthusiasts who wanted to provide a developmental soccer program for the youth of Rexdale. Since then, we have undergone various changes to our league name and club logo, but we have always maintained royal blue and white club colours. Our previous league names and nicknames were the Rexdale Soccer League and the Rexdale Knights.

In 2017, we celebrated our 50th anniversary and 50 years of proud service to the Rexdale community. In February 2018, we revealed our new league motto, “Kickin’ it since ’67!” to pay homage to our humble beginnings, and we reached over 50 house league teams, including teams in our youngest Micro U4-U6 Division and our newest Adult Co-Ed Division. We also have a competitive rep soccer team participating in Ontario Soccer and Toronto Soccer TSA competitions. We earned a Club Excellence Award from Ontario Soccer to celebrate our achievements.

Our mission is to provide a fun and exciting opportunity for kids of all ages to learn and play soccer. Our club is designed to provide a positive and supportive environment for children to develop their skills and love for the game. Playing soccer is a great way to stay active and healthy and teaches valuable life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Our experienced coaches and volunteers work together to create a fun and safe environment for children to learn and play.

We understand that, as a parent, you want the best for your child. We strive to provide a top-quality, fun, and affordable program. Our league is open to children of all skill levels and offers various programs to suit each child’s needs. In addition, our league provides opportunities for children to participate in tournaments and leagues, allowing them to showcase their skills and compete against teams from other clubs.

We are more than just a soccer club. We are a family. We are a community. We are the Rexdale Rebels.
